Children with unilateral hearing loss experience unique challenges for listening, communicating and learning in their everyday contexts. This course explores the unique characteristics of unilateral hearing loss and the effect they can have on the areas of listening, communication, academic achievement, social communication and participation for children and students with this diagnosis. The impact of a unilateral hearing loss diagnosis on skill development, listening effort and fatigue will also be discussed and explored.

This is a two hour live-interactive course where active participation from attendees is welcomed and encouraged.
The course will be recorded for registered participants to have access to for a limited time following the event.
